Shah Rukh Khan was born on December 12, 1965, in Delhi to Jahanara Begum and Rajesh Khanna. His parents divorced when he was very young but they later got married again when he was ten years old. He spent most part of his childhood with his maternal grandparents while his mother worked as a teacher at a school near Delhi University where she met
Shah Rukh Khan is one of India’s most famous actors, with a career that spans more than two decades. He first came to prominence in the film industry as an actor in the 1980s and 1990s, when he began playing roles that were more serious and less comedic. In recent years, he has focused on starring in romantic comedies and action films.
Khan was born on November 2, 1965, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He has a brother named Aryan Khan who is also an actor. His father Mohammed Salim Khan worked for Indian Airlines as a pilot until his retirement in the late 50s or early 60s when he moved to Pune where he worked as an engineer for Indian Airlines until his retirement from that company as well at around age 35-40 years old.
Khan attended high school at DAV Public School Pune where he completed his matriculation exams before going on to obtain a bachelor’s degree from St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai (1984-1988). He then went on to gain admission into the prestigious National Institute of Drama (NID) where he studied acting under guru Mahesh Kasturirangan (who later became the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu).
Khan is an Indian film actor, producer and television personality. He is the recipient of several awards, including three Filmfare Awards, two National Film Awards and an International Indian Film Academy Award. In addition to acting in films, Khan has also produced films and established himself as a television personality.
