Himachal Pradesh Rains Live: The states of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand have been battered by constant rains, which has caused landslides and flood-like conditions. The death toll in Himachal Pradesh has increased by 71 in only the last three days, surpassing the mortality toll for the entire month of July. IMD has forecast additional heavy precipitation for Himachal over the next two days as well as for Uttarakhand over the following five days. Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the chief minister of Himachal, reported that at least 1,100 people had been evacuated from dangerous locations. Shimla, Kangra, and other areas of Punjab have also been experiencing significant rain.
