Turkey Syria Earthquake Over 11500 Died!

So far 11500 people have died due to earthquake in Turkey and Syria. More than 11 thousand buildings have been destroyed. Not only this, more than 55000 rescuers are engaged in rescue in both the countries, While 34,810 people are injured. Emergency has been declared in Turkey for 3 months. Not only this, all government buildings have been made shelter homes. Turkish President Rajab Tayyab Erdugan told that so far 70 countries and 14 international organizations have come forward to help. He said that this is a big disaster not only for Turkey but for the whole world.

India has also sent NDRF for relief work. This team will go to Turkey and help in relief work. The number of people who died due to earthquake in Turkey and Syria is continuously increasing. Turkey Syria Earthquake Measured

The quake woke residents on both sides of the border between Turkey and Syria. The magnitude of the earthquake was measured at 7.8 on the Richter scale and buildings were tilted to one side after the tremors and strong aftershocks continued. People came out on a cold, rainy and snowy winter night as buildings were tilted to one side after the tremors.

Due to which many buildings collapsed. Hundreds of people are still trapped under the debris and many are missing. The death toll is expected to rise further. Seven days of national mourning has been announced in Turkey.Turkey Syria Earthquake Over 11500 Died!

India’s Role In Turkey Syria Earthquake

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief over the earthquake incident. He said that I am saddened by the loss of life and property due to the earthquake in Turkey. Condolences to the bereaved families. May the injured get well soon. India stands in solidarity with the Turkish people and stands ready to provide all possible assistance to deal with this tragedy.

Meanwhile, following the instructions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Government of India has decided to send help to earthquake-hit Turkey. India will send National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) search and rescue teams, medical teams and relief material to Turkey. India has assured Turkey of all possible help.

Turkey Syria Earthquake Rescue Operations

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Twitter that search and rescue teams were immediately dispatched to the quake-hit areas. We hope that together we will overcome this calamity at the earliest and with the least loss.

About 20 aftershocks were felt after the earthquake, the most powerful of which was of magnitude 7.8. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has instructed rescue teams to reach the spot immediately after the incident. Rescuers said strained health facilities and hospitals were quickly overwhelmed by the wounded and the death toll could be much higher.

A survivor could be heard calling out from under the rubble as rescue workers tried to reach her. Muhib, a doctor in Atmeh town, said: “We fear hundreds of casualties.” We are under immense pressure. There are reports of buildings collapsing in many cities including Damascus, Aleppo, Hama, Latakia in Syria. Train services have been cancelled. In many areas here, people told that earthquake tremors were felt for about 40 seconds.

The world is praying for Turkey and Syria

The worst of the situation in the region was seen in refugee camps where victims of terror across the country are already suffering from several natural hazards.
