ICC World Cup 2023 Schedule: Team India to play on Diwali after 36 years.
The new ICC World Cup 2023 Schedule for the upcoming ODI World Championships to be held in India was announced by the ICC on the evening of August 9th. The ICC World Cup 2023 schedule of the 9 matches of the official calendar published in the last week of June has been changed. This includes the game between India and Pakistan, which will now be played on October 15 instead of October 14.

ICC World Cup 2023 Schedule: In addition, the schedule of the next game of the Indian national team, which will be played against the Netherlands, has been changed. As India hosts the ODI World Championships, there will be many major festivals across the country.Navratri will begin followed by Kali Puja and Dussehra and Diwali.
ICC World Cup 2023 Schedule: India’s game against Holland has been postponed to Diwali on November 12th. Previously it was planned that Team India will play their game against Netherlands on November 11th at M. Bengaluru Stadium, which will be played on November 12th. Meanwhile, the game between Pakistan and England will be played at Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata on November 11th.The game was postponed to Diwali due to Kali Puja in Kolkata.
Team India recently faced Australia in Diwali. Team India matches often do not take place on major festival days, with a particular focus on Diwali. Previously, Indian team Diwali last played against Australia at the 1 World Cup at Delhi Stadium 36 years ago. The Indian team won the October 22 game with 56 points.
Changed ICC World Cup 2023 schedule for 9 games including 3 games of Pakistan national team. In the new schedule of the ODI World Cup, the schedule of 9 games was changed, including 3 games of the Pakistan national team.Now the Pakistani team will play against India on October 14th. The game against Sri Lanka will take place on October 10th and the game against England on November 11th.
